The first Gibraltar Open of the season was played this week-end. There were players from Spain and Belgium among the competitors and José Leon managed to win the Open final after beating Nuno Noronha (2-1). Vicenç Prats also beat Nuno Noronha in the final of the veterans. In the U15 section, David Gonzalez beat Belgium's Florian Giaux (2-1) to win the title. The young Giaux won the U12 section. The team event was full of very close games and the spanish team of Tiburones beat Real Murcia in the final.
